This solved my problem, and now my Windows 7 configuration is up running. Now I only have to install all applications and copy over the documents. Maybe I this time should make a disk image of the setup :-) I really recommend having a virtual disk with the key applications you need installed. I have that running providing me with access to VPN, mail, intranet etc. This way I stay available even if my setup is not ready.
Worked perfectly. Thank you!

Thank you! Worked great :D
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, you saved me a good bit of trouble. Just for info, this works on server 2008 as well.
ReplyDeleteAnother route that appears to work well is to right click on the computer icon on your desktop and then click properties. Go down to the bottom of the page to the area where it says windows product ID and then click on the "change product key" link and then re-enter your product ID. It may take a minute or two but if you have a valid key then your copy of Windows should successfully activate itself. This worked very well for me, I hope it works for you as well. Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteThe "change product key" worked for me also. Thank you Anonymous of April 27, 2011 08:40 PM!
DeleteI have tried clicking the link you put, but it is giving (untitled) webpage. i think is broken.
